Dr. Paul Paramel Antony is a Senior Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Joint Reconstruction at MAJ Hospital, Edapally, Ernakulam. His services are also available at Keyhole Clinic , Palarivattom. He did his M.B.B.S at Alleppey Medical College and his MS in Orthopedics from Christian Medical college, Ludhiana. He did his fellowship in Shoulder Replacement and Arthroscopy under Prof Frank Gohlke, University of Wuerzburg, Germany. He did his AO fellowship from Saarland University Hospital, Germany. He is expert in Shoulder and reverse shoulder arthroplasty, Knee and Shoulder arthroscopic surgeries and Total knee replacements. He has received a letter of appreciation from Prof. Tim Pohlemann, Director of University of Saarland , stating him as an Orthopedician with excellent surgical skills. He is presently doing over 1000 surgeries per year. He is the former Senior Consultant and Head of Orthopedic & Trauma, Ministry of Oman. He was managing a team of 12 Orthopedic surgeons in the major regional hospital of South Batina region Sultanate of Oman, until 2016.
